The items stolen covered a wide range of interests, so it looks to me like they just stumbled on the silver while rummaging through the house. If it was specifically for the silver, I doubt they would have stolen the rest.

I hate crime. If they find the felons they should bring out the machette...to limit their snatching ability

I'll bet they will eventually catch them for writing checks from the ones they stole.

They should check at local pawn shops about people selling all that silver. If they trace someone down by writing checks, most everything else will probably be long gone.

There is nothing more repulsive to me than a thief. Hope they do something stupid with the stolen goods and get caught. I agree with Fuzzy, sounds like they were grabbing anything of value.

Unless theyre going to sell the banking info to someone else not really sure what the point of taking checks is, might as well turn yourself in if the plan is to use those. Quote: Many shop owners are good a spotting hot items.
Thats true but theres usually a few places in larger areas where the owners couldnt care less if it was

hey folks, after reading this story (thanks for sharing, op). I just had to share this simple and cheap object that would increase the security of your home substantially. My parents have around 3 of these around the house and place two on the back door and lower floor door and the main entry door when everyone's home. It costs around $15 to 20.

The theft occurred when the guy wasn't at home. That stick is useless to him.

Wonder if the PM's were in a safe? Many safes are easy to crack I've heard.

I doubt whoever stole it had no idea the silver was there. Probably someone who knows him and took everything of value starting with the silver he showed off, at a time they knew he wouldn't be home. Conjecture on my part of course, but people get things stolen from their home by people they know all the time . . .

Quote: I hate crime. If they find the felons they should bring out the machete...to limit their snatching ability Believe it or not there was a time when the punishment fit the crime. If you were caught stealing, you would loose a hand. And the other if you were dumb enough to do it again & get caught.
