I wish I had been able to come (first major coin show since I started seriously collecting that I'm within four hours of,) but things just didn't work out. Seems like all went well!

@CCF and those who worked the table. We are done. Got home about an hour ago. Great presentation from CCF sad though, not enough kids! Hope Friday/Sat. more kids showed up.

Why would someone drive 600 miles roundtrip to a coinshow and not buy a coin? Well it was to meet the nicest coin enthusiasts on the planet!
I had the great pleasure to meet our forum Mom and Dad, the resident Hippie (NoHope, my brother by another mother) and his wife, McShilling and his bride, and two collectors on steroids Dave (Vermontensium and his wife) and Russ (Twohawks with an EEEEEEE).
I ended up spending most of my time at the CCF table and trying not to interfere with commerce. The discourse I enjoyed with these numismaniacs was worth a 1000 mile drive. I thank each and every one of you for sharing your time.
For those on the fence about attending in the future ... get down and GO!

I couldn't agree more! It was one of my favorite experiences at the show, Bravo Bobby and Susan!

Amazing to see the gold bar, 33 pounds and then pick it up ! @ NoHope, did you do it with two fingers?

SeatedNut, I love your post. What you have done at a national level I shall attempt to duplicate at a regional level: Meet, greet, eat and chat with each other. We ARE a great bunch of people after all. The more that we meet in person the better that we will be as we all proceed into the future. CCF - YEAH!

Picking the bar up with two fingers was not the problem the problem was my fingers are to fat to fit through the hole at the same time as the bar. I tried several times but since they would not have let me keep the bar I did not think it worth while to loose skin over

You would of lost some skin if you got it out! There was an armed guard standing right there!
