Perhaps posting on their facebook will have some affect. Force them to explain why both the original and the replacement COA exists.

The last time I called the mint (two nights ago), I was on hold so long the telephone battery went dead. No one talked to me for 28 minutes while on hold. Had to hang up. Bad, bad customer service. Hope you get an answer, eventually. Replacement my ...

Maybe though I'd bet they would simply delete the post. Twitter might be more effective since they can't delete another person's tweet.

Regardless, I would not post on either FB or Twitter with my 'real' name. There is simply too much risk in being identified as a collector. Could make fake accounts and ask I guess.

Hey Silverdon,

Hopefully we can all have great discussions on this website and not have to depend on answers from the Mint.

When talking about COA numbering, has anyone heard why the 100 4 100 series of coins don't have a COA? I believe total mintage was 50,000

They DO have a COA, but it's not serialized (numbered).

Thanks for the correction arianzo. Yes agree they have a COA, just not a numbered one. Just wondered if anyone knew why?

Because the mintage is too high. 20x20 coins are not serialized neither.

Yes the very first 20 for 20 had a COA but no number.

Just noting Arianzo that the mintage on my 2012 Year of the Dragon 1/2 ounce silver coin is 588,888 and there is a serialized COA, so mintage may not be the deciding factor in which a coin gets a number. I agree with you on the 20 for 20's and other mass produced quarter million mintage jobbies, just a printed card.

I wonder if a positive answer was found about the letter on the COA? Previous posts proved it wasn't a replacement COA with both the same number and the number with R COAs released to the public. It's not a topic that comes up very often, but a letter R on the COA is still happening. I've attached a picture of a 2020 Pysanka COA.
