I've got to learn more about doubled dies. Just don't get enough Lincolns up here to get a good chance. And now it's illegal to export them in bulk. :(

it's illegal to export more than $100.00. but a box is $25.00 I have them shipped to me about every week so a box at a time and you will be fine.
sorry about it being so hard I used cent because they are the most collected from what I hear. I collect them and don't know many people that don't so maybe next time I will have to get with Susan or someone else from this forum and pick something that would be fair for everyone.

I liked the challenge, but I just don't know enough yet. It's one area I hope to get a little more educated.

garylcsr - I didn't realize it was that high. I thought it was $25 or more. Then, I'm all in. Next time I head to Buffalo/Niagara Falls, I'm coming back with a box or two, as well as some nickels.

Can anyone tell me how common it is to find a doubled die or RPM? 1 in 1000? 1 in 10000? Just curious, but certainly interested in looking for varieties.

I have looked through thousands of box's and have yet to find an RPM the double die's are getting harder to find (in my area) but I get them shipped in from NH and find very few Double die's from there and have yet to find a RPM. but I keep looking. there is one 2006 P cent that is over $1000.00 already I have yet to find that one but I have no intention of stopping as far as I know there are only 4 that have been found one as recent as last week. so have fun and look for it.

scoutjim99 - hang in there. I'll make some more posts. I figure maybe a week tops, at the rate I'm going. ;)

Topher you should try coppercoins.com (i hope I'm allowed to say that) there you will find a lot of people that are into cents and they also have a variety search that you will not find anywhere else.

Thanks Lax
glad you like it and I hope it works well for you. mine works fine but you can never tell from different brands. I (may) have another one soon. I was searching rolls of cents from Philly mint the other day and found a vf or better 1909 VDB no S but hey it still feels just as good with or without a mint mark. I have a BU VDB so I don't have a need for a VF so that may go up later but I don't know when.
