I noticed they're going for 14.95 to 26.95. Not bad for a ten dollar roll. It will probably be quite awhile till they make their way out to Oregon.

i think thats so strange how some banks get them, I always ask if they have any but it seems pointless because they always say no.

Mindset...I have three territories now. I was shocked when I saw quarters I had never seen before while going through rolls.

Wow 2013 White Mountain...do you know if they're mixed mints

My picture is of an opened "D" BU roll. I also spent another BU roll of White Mountain-D Quarters in the eastern U.S. on my business trip last weekend. You won't find the seven Quarters I spent in a sandwich shop, though, because the cashier set them aside and bought them out of the drawer while I was eating...

If their mintages are anything like Denali though I'll let them go probably.

Even if their mintage is that high, the distribution of BU rolls to banks is still very limited and random.
That's the main reason why ...they're going for 14.95 to 26.95 a roll.

I am eagerly awaiting the White Mountain mintage numbers, though.
Then we'll find out if there is more year-round demand for Quarters,
or if the Fed just does big year-end orders (Chickasaw, Denali).

mindsets, here is a tip:

Stagger your banks.

In other words, go this week to bank A, next week to bank B, then bank C and back to bank A. This way, no one set of tellers gets "sick of you" and you're not draining their coin supply, which can make things tough for CRHers (they'll impose fees, refuse service, etc.). And, of course, spend 'em or dump 'em at a different branch!

It's funny when you say go to different banks. I'm stationed overseas where we have the one bank on base. I'm in harrassing them weekly. They know as soon as I walk in. I don't even have to wait in line before they rumage their drawer to let me know what they have. I haven't found anything worth keeping except a couple of old Ikes in the past couple of weeks though. I guess that's what happens when you have 400 US folks in a foreign country though. I'm envious of all of the ATB hunters that are doing well. It will be years before I find one and even then they will be beat up pretty badly. Happy hunting to all.

Mason, I used to do that but banks began to refuse to help me out after a while, just like you said. I have one bank now that I go to all the time who is very good to me but I do feel they are getting tired of it haha, might have to buy them chocolates for valentines day. I also live in upstate NY so different branches and banks are 15-20 miles away from each other. I used to have a good bank in NYC that would help me out but I dont live there anymore. Banks in the city are on every block haha.

The Jan. figures show 179.4 quarters minted for circulation last month alone. Don't know if they were all White Mountain quarters, but one would assume they were. The latest sales figures show 3.2 million WM quarter sold in bags and rolls between their release Jan. 28 and Feb 4.

Sweet ...found a 2009-D American Samoa while roll hunting for ATB's and it's in excellente condition !

* eta...all my territory quarters are D's. I doubt I will find any Philly's but I think that's why God created ebay.

Colorado has Mesa Verde and Rocky Mountain National Parks, and they picked the Sand Dunes instead...
