I've got a similar spreadsheet going where I track my purchases and trades that involve me getting silver. I also have it calculate my silver holdings in grams, ozt and moles.

I do something very similiar to this for my bullion. Only I also put in what my purchase price was, date of purchase, current value (updated once a day).

The only thing that I have not done is to track my purchases that are placed into an album. Since I have a number of albums and have been collecting for a couple of years, I really have no idea about purchase cost. I am also a poor grader so I have no idea of what both the grade would be as well as what the current value is of those coins.

I think that the best thing I could do would be to itemize my albums into a spreadsheet similiar to what you have there.

It is truly an idea who time has come. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea! I need to brush up on my formulas. I'm a lost soul trying to select the right formulas on Excel.

I got the spreadsheet, and tried it out. It works pretty well. It has a few coins I don't have, and missed a few I do. Its calculation and my calculation were less than 1% different.

This looks to be a great tool. Since I am a new user and can't contact through the normal channel, would it be out of place to ask for the spreadsheet here? My email address is tim_fannon at hotmail dot com.

Thanks,

Tim

to the Community, TimWUtah!

The OP has not been around for a couple of years, so you might be out of luck unless one of the other current members got a copy.
