Steve - probably worth more than an old roman too. My first batch of romans also had a medieval token in it!

Looks like a Medieval Jeton (counting coin, no monetary value, more like a token that banks used to keep accounts). I can't make out the legends though.
Nice find, jetons are a fun area.

Thanks, everyone for all the help. Now what is a French Jeton doing in a lot of ancient Roman coins? Hmm..

It looks like a Henry III silver penny to me or at least an English medieval coin...

Hi, DavidUK:

I've confirmed that it is indeed a Hans Krauwinckel Nuremburg Jeton. I have found several resources and it matches up nicely.

Ahh I guess coins of that time are stylistically similar, the font around the edge looks much like the old English coins...maybe I need to brush up on my other European coinage ^^

Hi, David: I appreciate any lead. Really, I had absolutely no idea what it was. I bought it in a Roman lot. Coinage123 advised what it was, I googled here and there and it was an exact match. Heck, I thought it was Roman! Didn't even notice the fleur-de-lis
