2013 Fractional Silver Bullion Set Vs 2013 1-Oz Proof Sml

I don't plan to get them graded as my set is a graduation gift and will be kept as a keepsake. I was more asking how bullion works. I am unfamiliar with it as I assume that proof sets are all created equally (minus some manufacturing flaws) but I hadn't realized bullion was an exception. More so just curious!

Also, I read the 2013 silver maple leaf bullion coins are being rationed this year due to the demand for silver. Anyone know what kind of numbers "rationed" will mean?

Thats what I'm trying to figure out too! :P Same with the random GITD dinos that are graded on ebay and asking a huge amount for them... why not buy one for less than half that price, send it in and pay the 20 dollars and you too can own a pretty coin in an ugly plastic holder! :P

Slabbing coins is a legitimate way to standardize grading and therefore trade and value. Done correctly it will also preserve toning and protect the coin. It just makes little sense to carry that habit from the numismatic side to the NCLT coins. The only exception I feel is pandas, where slabbing can help collectors wade through numerous variations and fakes.

I guess numismatic collectors that have a collection of slabbed coins may prefer to have slabbed NCLT coins. But - with all the slab-bashing I do it's really a matter of personal preference - it feels like little more than OCD for 3rd-party verified "perfection" and a way for grading companies to make more $$

Fractional set up to $250 now on GW

Colonial Acres was sold out until yesterday now their website shows 6 sets. GW only allows 1 per customer, but there is no limit on CA.

Glad I picked up both in the end. Now to find the 5 coin penny set for a reasonable price!

I guess the answer is: The cheapest price you can find, considering average completed auction on ebay & place such as CA/GW..... so anything less than $250 shipped, I guess.

2013 fractional set..... I don't follow the 5 penny set.
