What is the quality of the State Quarters you received?

They were mostly great. A few dings here and there around the edges, and two of them were kind of discolored (mint issue, not PMD). For face value, I'm not complaining.

cheezyfryes, is the 2UP209 deal for the 1999-2012 for both the D and P mints?

stud722, I am ordering a set right now. It includes 71 quarters, so it can't possibly be for both mints. I wonder if it's just one mint, or a combination of both?

cheezy, thanks for the codes! They are not listed on the retailmenot site that kurry posted. How did you find them? Are they somewhere on Littleton's page?

wilhelm41, I would say that every other week they put a flier in the Sunday News Paper in my area.

The quarters are mixed mints; a combination of both (P & D's).

Well, my package from Littleton just arrived. Exact same extra coins as cheezy, for the same low price

There are five State Quarters that are not so hot. But the rest are pretty good, including the Lincoln cents. This is a really good way to get ATB Quarters in particular, as those have been difficult to find in the wild.

So, I have a question. If I just send the other coins back, will they stop mailing more to me? Or do I need to write something on the order form, like "cancel"? They don't mention how to stop them from sending more.

I wrote cancel on the form, and also included a note asking them to not send more. Hopefully that works. If you just send the coins back without a note, they'll keep sending coins to preview and you'll have to pay return shipping on these.

A few of my quarters were discolored, but still not complaining for a face value sale. My LCS still sells most ATBs for 50 cents each, so I'll eventually just upgrade them.

Thanks cheezy. I looked around online, and it seems that is what everyone else does to get out of the coins on approval program.

You know, I would think they would have an option on the billing form to opt out of the program. They mention you can cancel anytime, but they don't really have an official way to do so. I didn't see any information on their website even. I imagine this is how they make their money. Kind of shady if you ask me.

Just found this thread. Have their 71 quarter ad on my desk for a week. This includes all 50 states, 6 DC & Territories and 15 National parks from 2010 - 2012. Was in one of the coupon insert that comes in most Sunday newspapers. You can order from http://www.LittletonCoin.com/specials (offer 2UP211) I was curious about what mint marks too. Has anyone ordered one or both albums for $3.50 each?

I ordered them. They work but they are pretty cheap feeling. They get the job done though.

I use the green Littleton folders for my circulation-find State/ATB Quarters, a Dansco would be overkill (and the green folders take up much less safe space).

I recently got 20 uncirculated president dollars for 20$ with a folder, ect. Got the over priced junk they sent but that was sent back. Gotta take advantage of the deals!

As long as nothing bad happens to me with the coins on approval program (i.e., problems cancelling), I would recommend the promos. The coins seem well struck; they are much nicer than what I find in circulation. So I assume they order a ton of mint sets, keep the gems, and sell the rest through the promos.

The state and territory quarters I got were about 50/50 P and D, the ATBs were almost entirely P's, and the pennies were 50/50 P and D. I don't know if there is a method behind what they give you.

I did NOT order the folders. However, I have purchased some of their green folders in the past. They work well for circulation pulls. I like them better than Whitman folders. They look more "professional".
