Oh No! There goes the unique value of the Dino Glow-in-the-Dark from RCM. Well, I hope that the Perth Mint set isn't something good otherwise I'll be burning another hole in my pocket.

Check the Perth Mint website - it is already there.

unfortuantely.. I didn't find anything else I wants to buy... I was thinking of maybe getting Kangaroo opal, the 3rd bird and this GITD coin but even then, it is not $400. the kangaroo opal coin is nice but I kinda gave up on the series. As for bird... I am giving up on that as well.. so I don't really necesary need those 2 coins. for that reason, I am not bother to place an order this time. Nothing jump at me to buy..

The same to me.

The Opal coins very nice, I gave up for the series, but considering to buy the Kangaroo.

Aurora - part of the series, and the series do not appeal to me (have bought Skua from parallel series by RAM), and now it is could be interesting to have the first Australian GITD.

But do I really need those coins (Opal and Aurora)?
May be will by from Talisman - the shipping charge will be less.

And after that square coin - I am not sure that need to "jump" on every their gimmick.

well if you buy 20+ kangaroo from talisman.. it is 99.95.. lol.. not that much discount for the GITD coin though. I just find it is hard to unload these coins when you NEED to unload them.

Just got my Australian Antarctic Territory - Aurora Australis 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin - Very beautiful in hand. It's my first Aus NCLT. After purchase, Tallisman raised their ebay price by $20 - it's now selling in the $120 range + shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/Australian-..._1889wt_1186

Btw, I've bought my Ausie Aurora coin. It's quite nice and only the Aurora part is glow in the dark. It's part of the continuing Antarctica Coin Series. I paid $90 shipped on ebay (Acquacoins in Tacoma, WA). I'm happy with the service and price.... they may have a few left if anyone interested.

Yep, it's kinda like that.... my problem is my light is not 'high intensity' so only the yellowish part is glowing the most.

I will do the picture of mine coin and post it tomorrow.

In general - yes, this is the coin. But when I "charged" the coin, it glow with lower intensity, so I could see the stars on the night sky.

What I don't like in this:
Not realistic picture of the man. This is silhouette of the teenager, and not of the adult. The legs and the arms - they look strange. I haven't been to there, but I remember how the people in the "The Thing" (by Carpenter)look like in the similar environment.

The coin is interesting, as the first GITD by Perth Mint, and it is silver coin, half painted - half silver crafted, but they could do more with "aurora" theme.
