Last night I just ordered a DVD box set of Rocky, Bullwinkle and Friends (Season 1) from Amazon. (It's for my daughter, really)

I'll get back with you on that. I am very interested. What would be the total cost for everything and do you accept PayPal? Just curious, that scan of the 2010 loonie looks like it has a lot of markings on it. Is that just the plastic? quote: $30.00 PLUS 15% TAX plus shipping and I could send you one.

It is in the plastic I believe. I will be removing them and putting them in 2X2's tomorrow so I will make sure then. With Tax the cost is $34.50 then shipping will be about $6.50, so $41.00 US will cover everything and Paypal fees.

An interesting observation was made from someone I know. God forbid, but what if the Queen dies tomorrow, would these 2008, 2009, 2010 coins carry a premium. Though in her 80's, maybe the mint was gambling on her having the same life span of her mother, then again Princess Margaret was not so blessed.

That would be even better for Canadian Mint. Then every collector would need two different sets and more money would be in goverment's pocket.

That is a good point. I am guessing we would then have some varieties on our hands.

Was there a year there were three Kings? We have three years and God knows what will happen? Queen ER II, King Charles, King William and maybe King Henry?

1936, the year of the three Kings - George V, Edward VIII and George VI. I would be interested in a set of these Olympic coins too as the RCM will not ship to Australia either. Wayne

Got two sets of these from an ebay seller in Vancouver and while they are great, the dollar coins certainly are the poorer of the set. The quarters are of high quality, but the dollars seem a little marked and have what looks like red die marks from the maple leaf on the package on parks of the surface.

quote: I cannot think of any time were coins were minted with dates this far in advance.
Several European countries began minting the euro coinage in 1999. Some of those countries dated them all 2002 (official introduction date), while some did put the actual minting year on them (France, for example).
