2006P Mag, 2006P nonMag... Oh is it just two? So much the better! As for shape, not bad, it has some fingerprints that look like they could come off with plain soap and water, still good shine. I'll do that and put up some pics

Best Canadian saved from one of the boxes I picked up just prior to Feb 03 is a 1955 NSF. Filled a hole for me.

I also pulled 3 x 2006 No P No Logo Magnetic and 2 1985 Pointed 5's.

Several others that I like and are now in my collection but I would be typing all night.

I'm saving all the pre-1960 Canadian pennies I find here in US rolls, but am thinking about going newer than that. Thing is, I'm not sure what I'd do with them. I could never send copper cents to a melting pot. It's like they're part of my family once I hoard them!

Saw a big donation box filled with pennies at the nearby Tim's.. Thinking of talking to the manager about buying them, after all they'd only go to a bank anyway and some great ones could be lost... Or would this be going too far for pennies?

I bought a collection of Canadian cents from my local coin dealer that had 1920-1990 with only a very few missing. It MASSIVELY expanded my Canadian cent collection. Of course, now that I have all those, I want the whole set.

@darcyrmt - make it worth their while and offer to give them above and beyond what is in the penny box.

Scattered through 4 rolls of CDN pennies wrapped at the earliest in 2001 (the most recent date in the rolls):
King George V - 2x1935
King George VI - 57 coins btw 1938 and 1952
US Wheats - 19 coins, earliest 1919
And strangely enough - a CDN 1929 dime..
What a save from the melting pot..
