I think it's fantastic that ebay gives the bottom feeders a chance to draw out the ignorant bidders and teach them one of life's lessons on how to not purchase coins, but honestly, if my post divorce coin budget allowed me to purchase coins, and I didn't know any better, I would snag this up in a last second snipe

Two badly cleaned cents on each end--and no doubt cheap wheaties in the middle--seller probably made an easy $50. This scam is as old as time itself.

Yep and the "nice toning" is as real as the leprechaun that painted it on the coin!

I had complained to ebay a number of times about this type of scam and they seem not to be too concerned that these sellers are ripping people off with their "unsearched" rolls. Ed ANA LM-3175

It feels like this ebay seller is doing nothing but giving us a black eye. However, the other side of my thinks if there is a market of dummies willing to part with their money, who am I to stop this guy from making a buck.

Quote: I SPOKE WITH THE WIFE OF THIS ELDERLY GENTLEMAN AND SHE MENTIONED HER LATE HUSBAND PURCHASED THESE ROLLS YEARS AGO, AND MARKED THE ROLLS FOR FUTURE SORTING, BUT NEVER GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEARCH THEM. I don't know, to me that ink looks pretty fresh.

Unbelievable that any self respecting coin collector would fall for these garbage listings and shame on the scammer for pulling stuff like this.
