@joeykoins, The buffalo's are just 1916's I believe. I didn't see anything special about them. I understand about the 1916 double die and the 1917 3 leg. If I passed one, then it's going to be kept inside the roll for a long time. I am not going to open it but I would open if I knew something special was inside. Otherwise it's worth like ten dollars or so. Perhaps, I was looking at my bag of nickels 1938 to 1964, one was 1943 with large P, I was like wow, never saw that before. So few day's ago I just found out it's silver, lol.

@Amcarmar, I didn't know too. I guess it's a common error on the coins though. But I like it. Makes them look better :)

@FadeToBlack, I was once like that. Don't feel bad though. I bought that Gold coin when I was 16 I believe? Not trying to brag but it was 305 dollars. I might have overpaid but it's nice you know. It makes you feel great holding a Gold coin in your hand from 1912. Just think, who else owned that coin? Did the mafia once own it?

If I am gonna drop that kind of dough on a coin, I want something high grade. That's pretty much why I don't own any gold yet. I'll probably pick up a MS65 $20 Saint sometime in the next few years... it's a gorgeous design. The smaller denom gold coins from the same era are also remarkably nice, although I'm partial to the $10 as I am not a huge fan of the incuse design of the half and quarter eagles.

Didn't know you posted again,lol.

The gold coin was the only one he had. They were selling like hotcakes. I liked it so I bought it. I know it's not the best but gold value is like 220 or so. But the collector value is what makes it more.

Hey guys.. just adding a update... I should have some photo's of the other coins around Monday to Wednesday. I been very busy with real life doing stuff. I had to roll up 120 dollars in quarter and look at them. Plus had to go over 10 dollars in nickel then roll them up. The nickels were my gift if I rolled the quarters for my uncle. I have rolled pennies too. I have 16 dollars in nickels rolled up and to be saved. No longer going to use nickels.

It is difficult to tell from the photo, it looks like the Mylar window in the 2x2 is scratched. But going with the apparent lack of luster, compared to the 1977 next to it, I am going to guess that it is not. Of course, I could be wrong.

Regardless, it is an Eisenhower dollar and I am fond of say that there is no bad one.

Did someone delete my reply or am I going crazy?

Thanks for your opinion jbuck. Sadly I think this will be my last time posting photo's of coins. I like showing them, but I really suck at taking the photo's. I just haven't been feeling the same anymore, it's not coins it's just real life.
