i have 12 rolls of them but only 1 roll mixed of red ones and have been searching cents since 1999 but in the last 6 mths they are turning up a lot less! I think the well is running dry so they are getting harder to find.

No wonder I haven't found any for a while. Your grandmother beat me to them. Nice finds. I agree-they are getting harder to find as more people look for them and newer coins are being minted that dilute cnet supply.

Congrats. on your finds.I love the " A.M. varieties! They are by far, under rated. About 10 years ago, I found an 1999,on the ground! It was still in pretty good condition. I decided to send it in to NGC. It came back a 64 RB. I was very well pleased,in the least. For $30.01,I now had a treasure worth over $200 bucks! -joey

They are getting difficult to find. I haven't found one in over a year. Then again, I'm only searching about a box a month lately as well.

I've failed on my search of Wide AMs as well. Started about 2 years ago, and haven't found one yet. I guess Los Angeles is a bad area.

Don't give up! I'm sure you'll find a 2000 "wide a.m.", their the most easy to find. Good luck, these are very under rated varieties, esp. the big one ( 1999). -joey

Found 5 this month. 4 1998's and 1 2000. But it took over $600 face.

They ARE getting hard to find. Reasons: 1. Finite supply. 2. More people looking as more collectors become aware of them. 3. Newly minted cents being released diluting cent supply. 4. Normal zincoln attrition.
