I don't see anything suspicious. Details are probably AU maybe a little better but it may be cleaned. Hard to say from the pictures.

Do you think it makes sense to send this coin to grading? I'm from Poland, so maybe it cost me a lot of money...

Quote: Do you think it makes sense to send this coin to grading? I'm from Poland, so maybe it cost me a lot of money... I wouldn't. Assuming it's genuine and grades as a problem-free AU50 then you have a 100 USD coin (wholesale) and maybe 160 USD retail as smokeriderdon noted. It's not worth the cost of certification. I would keep it in an Air-Tite or Kointain holder as you show in one of your pics.

The coin lies in the capsule (as in the picture). I hope that there will be nothing wrong with it:)

Hard to tell from pictures but if not cleaned, it is worth far more than $100.

Yeah, shipping and all that from Poland may be a bit pricey to send it to ANACS. Not sure if there are any European grading companies. Regardless, it is a lovely coin and the capsule you have it in will protect it wonderfully.

I'd wager it has been cleaned. But still a desirable details coin.

Beveled is not what I would call that rim. It looks fine to me. The Morgan appears to have more wear from circulation. The 1921 Peace dollar is very common and I see nothing indicating yours is not genuine. It does appear lightly circulated and dipped but that too is a very common practice and doesn't hurt the value a lot.

Thanks for the good news:) I am now much calmer:) I have new pics, in another light. Now you can see better all small scratches. This guy from polish forum said this: "Hello, in my opinion - the 90% false. Edge is a bit bevelled (or truncated), date if slightly grinded, all together I do not like." What do you think about this? I do not even know exactly what he says, but I am an amateur:)

Your looks genuine to me. It does look cleaned and the last photo shows signs of an abrasive cleaning. Abrasive cleaning is very bad in numismatic terms but the coin looks like a genuine 1921 High Relief Peace dollar. Sure it could be a high quality, die struck counterfeit in AU condition that has been improperly cleaned. That's not likely though. I would bet it's real. Post some high-resolution pictures of both surfaces and the edge again if you want us to study it further.

Too bad the coin was cleaned. You think that its value will fall by that much? I bought for $ 35, so I think business was not bad :) I post better pictures later, I would be grateful if you look at them. The coin is not very valuable, but I would love it to be original :)

For $35 you can't go wrong. Despite the cleaning/polishing this coin has AU level detail and is worth 2X or 3X what you paid. It looks genuine to me too. I'd buy all of them that I could find in that condition at that price.
