Wonderful old-time set! It's nice to see one of the original black leatherette holders still holding the coins -- often these holders are found without the coins. There are multiple versions/varieties of these sets. The first 200 sets that were placed in these holders featured a notarized certificate on the back indicating the special nature of the set - similar to the Cleveland holders. Most of sets that are found in these holders are number 201 or higher -- i.e., they do not include a notarized certificate. If interested, I showed a picture of my (empty) holder here: https://goccf.com/t/116786Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the background story! I look forward to seeing your future finds!

Wow...and Kelly got her back story as well! I look forward as well to your future finds. It sounds like you literally could go get lost for hours (days (weeks))!

Wonderful details! I was hoping for a few sentences, please do not take my "demands" as shaming the new guy on the block. Seems to me you have been holding back a bit? I look forward to additional pictures and knowledge transfer

Nice set of a not so common commemorative and the original holder just adds to the set.

Cincy Commem Set is now in stacks Bowers hands. Looks like it will be listed in the 2014 Americana along with a bunch of my other "finds. Parting is difficult but the grand daughter needs a head start on life!!
