Usually they come out at around Spring time, which is quite perfect if you ask me. Nice weather and new coins are a great mix! Exclamation point!

No rolls until April, but doesn't stop this person from saying their 5 cent is from a roll...

A bit off topic.....I read this listing and noticed that it is FREE shipping across Canada......for the first coin, then $0.25 for each additional coin. If I were to buy from this seller, I would pay for each coin individually and take advantage of the FREE shipping on each coin. Kind of a backwards way of combining shipping.

Where else would it be from?

Aren't most circulation coins delivered in plastic rolls in boxes from Winnipeg?

It probably came from the 2013 Uncirculated Set.
All circulation coins come from Winnipeg, but none have been released yet, except for the 50 cent rolls.

They received a bunch of negative/neutral feedback as a result.
On ebay it becomes cheaper for fees on multiple items or quantity, shipping wouldn't go up that high per extra coin. Pay for each individually before they send an invoice ;)

Duh. I keep forgetting about the uncirculated set fiasco.

I guess offering one of each coin would be a dead giveaway, huh?

Very interesting as I've also pulled out 2013 quarters (both caribou and the de Salaberry), nickels and loonies from the till at work. No dimes or toonies seen yet.

I guess it would make sense that if ordered by banks the Mint would have sent out 2013 circulation coins.
Not sure why the boutiques wouldn't be offering them yet, especially the Winnipeg boutique considering the 2013 coins are within viewing distance. :)

Since the seller of the 5c above is in Vancouver, it becomes plausible that the coin is from a roll.

Went to Costco today and got a dime and quarter.

Only way you could get rolls is from the mint or ordering a box from the bank. I always seem to have trouble
Asking for single rolls.

Considering that persons listings all consist of 10+ coins per listing and the nickel listing is a single item listing I think it was found in change or taken from an Uncirculated Set.

@CanadianCoins a lot of banks don't have new rolls. I asked for $50 in dimes from my local TD the teller picked up 4 new rolls and went to put them back down again until she realized there was no other dimes in the drawer. She was hesitant but handed over 2010 uncirculated rolls.

You can also order the boxes from the Mint, but there are admin and shipping fees attached. Better to make friends with a teller.

What about the boutique in Vancouver?
Do they usually sell these rolls for a premium in the boutiques?
