People bought 3 at Canada Post and used different addresses to place more than one order and then reserved 2 at various post offices. This can easily add up to many butterflies.

I ordered 2 from my local post office. They said the order was responded with "off sale," which means it may or may not go through. Depends on if there is an Overstock, which is doubtful. I figure 50% chance, but it's better than nothing.... |

Thanks Tristen, also checked with the Mint boutiques and they said they won't be getting any in for their regular in-person customers. I'm surprised that a certain number of these coins were not reserved for the boutiques as usual. Apparently Ottawa is focusing on online sales only and they make the final decision. So much for standing in line.
Imagine the disappointment when people get up early to stand in line to get this coin and other releases, only to find out there are none left. If this keeps up, they might close the boutiques and have online sales only.

@allspice - Probably only one a month it is busy with collectors other than tourists. Well so many were bought online when it came back in stock for the second time those coins were probably the ones going to the boutique etc.

Tristen, good news! I called the local post office again. This time the clerk confirmed that the order went through!  The clerk is confident she will be getting 2 for me, since she usually gets a reject notice, but not this time!  Will let you know when the coins come in! |

what's the point of this thread on a RCM monitored forum? It's like saying "How many times have I committed a crime" on a police forum. pretty clear that a lot of people took advantage of loopholes that existed in RCM system, there's no point to just rub it in. |

I had a chance to pre-order by phone(with a few friends help) from Canada Post 3, or 6, or 9, 12, 15 or even more. But I was too lazy to do that.
I had a chance to ordered on Tuesday at 3:00 but I was at work. So I miss that, & the coin sold out.
So I bought 1 on a E-bay.
1 for me.

I was planning to buy this on a Tuesday, since I'm a MC Member.
But when I came home, the coin was already sold out.
That's why I bought on E-bay, because I like this coin.
