I'm a big fan of the english premier league, watch a game or two every weekend on the Fox Soccer Channel. Don't know much about the MLS though...

All I know is that you're not supposed to use your hands! I'll join the contest! Heck, I'll learn more about any sport when there's a chance at a nice prize like you're offering!

I'd give it a go. I would absolutely watch more football if only it were televised more than every four years.

Woulps, I was mistaken about the tournament start time, so you can disregard the cutoff time. Saturday's game is a play in game, and apperently is not part of the official tournament, so I'm just going to treat it as a bonus round, since its only one game, people who participate in it will not gain a serious advantage over those who don't. Anywho checkout this link for tournament dates. http://thecup.us/format-of-100th-ed...eam-numbers/

I should add that I'll make the actual contest thread likely tomorrow to give everyone time to research the game/predict the outcome. And again, The first official match is May 7th but the play-in game is this saturday the 30th of March. The play-in game is going to count as a bonus round, (in other words if you haven't registered for the contest in time Saturday's game your not at a significant disadvantage because its just one game, however you must register by May 7th, (as you have more than a month I don't think That will be a huge issue ). In addition, before every round, I'll try to post links to resources so you can do some research on each team before each round. If has any has any questions feel free to ask.
