Thanks for the input basebal21. Comparing it to the one you listed the coin on ebay looks faded or mushy, the details kjust aren't there, especially on the reverse in my opinion.

Quote: Comparing it to the one you listed the coin on ebay looks faded or mushy. Completely agree, too much detail is missing that should be there that just isn't. The stars look real worn but parts of it look untouched theres just no consistency like you would see from actual wear. Both of those listed currently should probably be reported. Id do it right now but like I said I'm not very familiar with these so Ill let a little time pass to see is someone who knows more about them can vouch for those

It's a poor quality fake of a pattern.

Looks like a Chinese fake to me. The mushy strike is, at least in part, due to die clashing. Note the outline of Liberty's head that's visible on the reverse.

I believe so, tokenmast. The clashing is most evident on the reverse, below and around "In God We Trust." One can see the upside-down outline of Liberty's head, with her nose opposite the "0" in "420."

I emailed the seller and he says it is "100% genuine" and that he has even more rarer coins that will be listed.

Looks like he ended up listening to reason, and pulled it.

I had a kindly exchange with the seller about this item. He pulled the item and replied as follows:
"You are absolutely correct! Thank you so much for your professional insight!"
I wish that all sellers were as receptive and kindly as this seller is!!

That is great to hear. I didn't explain anything to him, just asked him about the coin. I'm glad you were able to talk to him and inform him about it ExoGuy.
