Finally received my ANA membership card in the mail yesterday. Huzzahs! Has anyone else received their cards over the past few days? |

Got my card finally. It was interesting when I emailed them about paying a supplement in order to get the print edition of the Numismatist. It's clear they do NOT want to do this. I had a log in question and sent that to them along with one about the print edition. They answered the first and ignored the other. I asked again and was told they need $18 additional. Nothing more, nothing about how to pay. So I emailed again- got a terse reply, to call them. Bet they will try to talk me out of it!

Still haven't gotten mine but based on the recent posts it looks like the ANA is giving away unlimited even though the offer said limited to the first however many "free" memberships which only cost the ANA bandwidth as the only benefits the new members will have is free online access and whatever discount they offer on admission to their shows (which is coming up) Hopefully the slow turnaround in membership processing and issuance of cards is not directly related to free admission to the upcoming show 2 weeks from now. |

I received mine over the weekend. I wrote this off last month. The wheels of progress do indeed turn...somtimes very slowly.

Resurrecting this thread to just comment that although I sent payment of a supplemental fee to have hard copies of the Numismatist, I have had to continually get after them to mail them. I currently have not received the October and November issues, although I did get the online edition. I keep emailing someone at ANA headquarters who doesn't seem to understand the situation. If this keeps up they are not getting a renewal. |

Did anyone else taking advantage of this offer also elect to pay the supplemental fee for hard copies of the magazine? If so, are you getting them? It is happening again and I am again dealing with clueless ANA staff. I usually talk to some secretary who says they will mail me out a copy which they do- then it happens again. |
