I believe this one is owned by a forum member here who sales some pretty high end coins....at least high end to me and way out of my budget. I also believe he helps identify less than ethical dealings on ebay ....such as finding problem coins that have been cracked out and sold as problem free. I may be completely wrong with this, but the seller looks familiar. If it's who I'm thinking it is, then I'd have no problems buying this coin.

That's him. You can assume this coin is everything he says it is. If you're really interested, grancap74, drop him a Forum Email.

Shadow, thanks for the info.
I've bought off ebay many times but am always careful on checking the seller, bids, etc. out before going in. 5 more hours to decision time, unless I get hit in the head with a skillet by the person living with me related by marriage :-)

I know I'm not SsuperDdave, (or even Ssuper!!), but you can access a CCF member's email by just left clicking on the person's name in their left signature block on any of their posts. (You can use the "Search" function (in the upper line of navigation blocks) to find their posts if you need to. Look for the "Send an email" under Contact information.

It will take you to where their email is!!

Good luck!! And keep us posted!! What a beauty!!

There's an "Email member" link in the series of icons above every post - it's the second from the left. So all you have to do is find one of his posts. Here's a good start:

Thank you, I've already sent the email.
To give all a smile, my wife "says how much is that coin", Me: about $2000. Her "it says 1 cent, who in the hxxx is going to buy a penny for $2000", and one last thing: her, "don't forget about my shoes".
Any ideas on how to counter that statement

This is a really interesting coin....Chocolate Brown indoors, Blue outdoors. The pictures in my listing are from Heritage. James, I just sent you an email....only advise I can give you is 'The Wife IS the BOSS'.

I'm not sure SuperDave is helping out in this matter,
buy her more shoes. There are approx 115 prs in her closet, 15 or so are not out of the boxes! Two of those are more in cost than I care to say here (prada), aaarrrggghhhh
Perhaps I can take those 2 and send them in on my next submission so they can Slab them, they should grade out at least MS68

I'm not much help here...

Whenever I try to explain why I would spend hundreds or thousands for one cent my wife says - but, it's a cent and why would you spend more than a cent to buy it?

hmmmmm.....

Who's the breadwinner? You? Then she can just deal with it.

My Two Cents. This is how my fiancee and I handle things (I make about 2x what she does). We put enough money together to cover all the bills and whatever is leftover we spend on whatever each of us pleases.

Well.....It won't happen tonight. In her defense, I did spend a fair amount at my LCS last week.
