All '21's are high relief, yes.
Too bad somebody (from the look of it at least, could always be the photos) cleaned it.

I have no idea how you could tell from my crummy pics if it has been cleaned? It has mucho luster and doesn't look cleaned to me but the pics do look a little flat and dull.

I didn't say it was harshly cleaned, I just said it's been cleaned. One way or another... I doubt that it has original surfaces, that's all.
I think the '78-CC is a problem coin too.

I didn't say it was harshly cleaned, I just said it's been cleaned. One way or another... I doubt that it has original surfaces, that's all.
I think the '78-CC is a problem coin too.

The CC does look "different" but not tampered with. Maybe it is a super rare variety  The 1st C is almost closed together and both Cs have either some silver slag? or some crud in the middle. |
