I think there isn't any WaWa in Pa. When my family were taking a trip to New Jersey, WaWa was everywhere!
Oh, I forgot to say, I messed up an mistaken Turkey hill for Sheetz.... Sheetz don't have burgerz.

Not only is there Wawa in PA, their main headquarters is directly across the road from the long-time location of the Franklin Mint! And just down the road from the former site of Ivy Mills, the 18th century paper mill that produced the paper for Pennsylvania's colonial currency, and for the Continental Currency (the first paper money of the United States!)

I've been to both and I can honestly say WaWa is better. Sheetz is awesome, but just not quite as much so.

I love it when a thread on a coin forum has approximately 50% of its posts discussing various food marts, none of which I have ever heard of on the west coast. This thread is kept alive for its keen intellectual insights, while other threads are often locked for no "good" reason.

Hey, it's not our fault your west-coast convenience stores are no good. Why should we be punished?

You could definitely be right since I've never had it but Sheetz did have an old coin spotting WAWA is a deli isn't it? You have In-N-Out which trumps all. As far as threads being locked it seems lately it happens when they turn nasty, are a duplicate, or people are just piling onto someone for something

WaWa is convenience, deli, gas, whatever you need, and almost all of them are 24hrs. Great, great hoagies. Smoothies are fantastic too. Can't say enough about 'em.

The next post will decide whether this stays or gets moved.

Basebal, if you can go back, give the manager a ring. Explain that you saw a coin worth more than face in their charity box and would like to make a donation in exchange for the coin. I used to do this all the time at my job and got quite a few 1910's pennies and silver dimes/quarters for double face (the rate my boss and I agreed on for such finds).

Tell them you'll put $5 in if you can take 0.25 out. Kind of rude but helps the charity!
