Congrats, Ralph. However, this begets the question, what is next?

Congratulations Ralph!
This is something that not a lot of people can say about any series of coins that have existed for so many years. Now it's going to be 'wait and see' what happens to this collection, IF and WHEN they discontinue the series. This is also bound to happen, as they are already starting to talk about the possibility of a change.
Again, nice going.

Jim - I just don't know. I've got several sets that are works-in-progress (as I'm sure everyone else does). I've been toying with the idea of working on my Washington quarters - got 'em from 1950 to date. I worked backwards on them - looking at starting on the 40s next, but nothing's set in concrete - something else may catch my fancy before I decide.

Old Dan, My coins bring me big pleasure right now, but I can't say what might happen to them after I'm gone - don't care. I'm sure, if they're kept by a family member, they'll pass on to the next generation, and, hopefully, the next... If not kept, they'll be sold, and become part of another collector's collection.
If they do discontinue this series/type, think how much they'll be worth a couple hundred years down the road.

Way to go Ralph. I love Roosies - there are a lot of dates in that series.

Thanks guys (and gals). I just found out that the links I posted in my Jefferson nickel thread failed to show the pictures. Did this happen here as well? When I click on the links, I can see the coins; however, I recently did some photo shifting into a sub album, so it may have caused a problem with these links posted here as well. I'd appreciate someone letting me know as I'm new to using photobucket, and haven't ironed out all the kinks yet. Thanks.

Ralph
