I like the striations on the obverse. It shows them best. I've added that image to my educational files and DVD for the explanation of striations. Thanks for posting it David.

That's a beautiful error.! Off centers with those "striations" are usually referred to as stretch strikes. These occur quite frequently with uniface strikes. I may be wrong but I think that this is especially true for nickels, at least from what I've seen. There's a minor obverse and reverse die clash too and it's also nice that the second strike didn't erase the date! Nice error vermontensium.
