So close to VF. This one does not scream "cleaned" to me, could be just honest dirt in the normal hiding places. How is the color in hand?
Personally, find an XF if you are in the market for one...not much more money.

I'll say F15. The fields sorta have the mottled look of getting scrubbed by a toothbrush, but I'm not positive. Nice coin!

F12 and I wouldn't call it cleaned. If it is its just very lightly touched.

Strong fine and so close to VF grade.

I agree with Fine and perhaps lightly cleaned or polished but not harshly. The rim dings are more of a concern and I assume you've taken a close look at that MM. Pretty decent tough date for the right price.

Well, the color is a uniform chocolate when seen in person. The lighting situation for my photos will hopefully be fixed soon (have to fix my setup on my days off). The dealer where I purchased it graded it as a VG-8, but I think he was very conservative with his grade on this one (usually I agree with his grades but this is an exception). I too examined it and thought F-12 or F-15, and bought it for $75.00. I don't think it's been cleaned so much as it's been handled, and yeah, the dings kind of irk me, but overall it's a nice coin for the money and I have ZERO regrets buying it for my set. Thanks for the input everyone!

The hit on the cheek probably kept anyone from paying F-12 money for it. Bad spot for a ding, but paying VG money is a good deal.
