Thats great to hear! I was actually gifted a 1.5 gallon ice cream bucket 3/4 full of pennies, earlier today. The cool thing is it had been sitting in a closet in a 2nd grade classroom since 1994 (my mom just retired). All dates 1959-1993. No gems, but a great copper to zinc ratio :) ... would have rather had your most wheat roll though!

wulffy11, Make sure to look for errors and varieties. Also make sure to attach a note about these coins coming from your grandpa for future family members to know about. John1

I can't wait to give all the coins I have been stashing and rolling up to my grandchildren in like 40 or 50 years before I am about to bite the big one.... They'll be like wow look at that, 50+ rolls of 2009D nickels all AU-BU condition... Lets go buy some candy with them lol
Or give it to the one who's started his/her own collection ;) Then all the other ones will want a "fair share of the money"

Cool! You really got lucky. Today my dad found an envelope with a few wheats that he collected and lost in our basement thirty years ago! There was a 1916, 1928, 1936, 1944, 1945, and a 1946. Even a 44 merc! But 35 wheats...wow!
