Because of the crud on the top of the obverse, I would think it would get no better than PF63. If the mirrors were killer, maybe it could do better.

Of course in 1886 the mint struck no business strikes so it must be proof! Doh, at least I thought it looked proof before I checked the mintage figures. DOH! Well at least I got in before that little hint was given.
Still thinking it's a PR63 the coin looks nice enough to go PR64 but, the little fly specks probably keep it from any higher than PR63 IMO.

Should have known that it was a proof only year. Found that out when I checked my RedBook after posting. Anyways, I'm going to stay with the same numerical grade.

Be still my beating heart! PF 62-63 is the first thing that comes to mind. The only think that concerns me a tad is the stuff between her hair and OF. Does PCGS give details grades for proofs? I still do not think would deserve one but one never know that those TPGs. Very nice Mr. Moe ! (this deserves more than the finger...)

Did I call this one or what! I'd bet it might receive a green bean from CAC it's high end for PR63, just those dang flyspecks keeping it out of a PR64 holder I'll bet.
