Even having the complete set from the nickel to the twonie, (thanks to some friends in Edmonton), it still looks incomplete without the cent! I can only imagine sets of the future as they discontinue each coin from our monetary system. Actually, I don't WANT to imsagine a coinless society!

I posted this a few days ago in the Commemoratives and Non-Circulating Coinage (NCLT) form. Sadly the sale is past but Sears.ca had the Holiday gift card for around $9.00. It had the normal toonie, loonie, dime and nickel, the quarter was different, just for the holiday card, something like this will get you BU and not have to deal with ebay premiums.
hope this helps (normal price is around $20)

I got my first 2013 dime and Twoonie 2 weeks ago. I'm 3 hrs west of Edmonton. I was very stoked, as I don't get much change when I go shopping. Both coins look very fresh and new. I haven't had the time to put them under my scope.

I'm new to this forum, and maybe I take our mint here in Winnipeg for granted. When ever I've gone to the boutique in the mint to buy something, you always receive uncirculated coins for change. I was buying 2013 quarters, dimes and nickels there last month and was receiving 2013 toonies from there in change.
Can you not order rolls of coins from the boutique and have them shipped to you?

I just received my first brand new 2013 townie in change today. The rim is waffled where the two dollars and maple leaves are stamped on the rim edge. Is this normal and within the mint tolerances?

I ask at the bank for a new roll of toonies. Teller goes looking for it and cannot find it but comes out with a new roll of loonies. I did not want to take it but then I noticed it was 2012 lucky loonie roll in shrink wrap from the mint.

Go figure.

The year is over and I still have not seen one come through Windsor. Very odd!
