@vfhernandez1, click on the ebay link and then click see original listing. Look at the reverse of all these and you'll see how soft the reverse details are. This is typical for cast reproductions.

what basis for such judgement? If the hair then better rethink

The date font looks wrong for the 1921 along with mushy details on the reverse along with the porous area behind the date.

On the 1919 Miss Liberty is from a Type 1 (head, shield, bare breast, beading along rim)

Those are variety 2, not variety 1. The three stars under the eagle on the reverse.

Note: The seller sold 6 items that tested out false and only got a neutral response.

The stars under the eagle on the reverse are not the only differences between a Type 1 and Type 2 as I explained the obverse differences in my post above.

That seller really needs to be shut down. All the recent commemorative halves sold are cast fakes and the mint mark on the 1889 CC doesn't really match any known reverse die. The C's are touching. Are there that many bidiots out there buying crap and leaving positive feedback?

update - even the common date Morgans are cast repros!

I sent the seller and "cease and desist" message and this was his reply...

"Yes you are the 2nd person to tell me that they were fake. I have canceled the sale and I'm refunding the money. I really didn't think that they were fake so I went to a local coin store and the Standing Liberty quarters are not even real silver.
thanks for looking out for everyone."

I contacted ebay and sent a list of completed auction counterfeits to investigate. Everything this person has sold is crap. I don't buy the ignorance reply anyways.

Everything this crook has sold is fake. Look at the two Texas commemoratives on the first page of feedback, heck look at anything...it's all bogus.

The scary thing for me... he has 100% positive feedback. Over the years, I've been justified to put great faith in the feedback system. But now, well...
