The problem is the $1000 right now. Have some medical bills that are zapping my cash. Not too worried about a 1913 $10. There should be plenty of them on the market with the Bank of Canada hoard surfacing and being sold. The 1914 $10 I bought from the RCM is a nice coin.
Thanks for checking the RCM site for me, though!

Our most important and expensive gold Sovereign here in Canada is the 1916-C with about 50 known to exist (A long while ago it was believed only 10 existed. The price has drooped for this coin over the years since more have been discovered). Still a legendary Canadian rarity.

Then the 1908-C would be the 2nd most valuable with only 636 ever minted.

My Pride and Joy!

I will be looking some day to sell through Heritage Auctions.
If your coins are graded by a reputable 3rd party grader, probably you will do best by auction house (Heritage, Canadian Auctions, etc.). I don't think you will get the best return by ebay, but who knows. Best of Luck!

Thanks for helping in my purchases to Sandy Campbell / Proof Positive Coins

I base myself on page 230 of the 2015 Charlton Standard Catalog of Canadian Coins.

Like you I believe there are far less than 50 known but who am I to challenge Charlton's guide on coins.

1908c sp66 sold for us 12.000 040115 heritage norweb collection, hence ebeckman's beauty considered to be
unique as being sp67 although the bentley specimen might come close but it was not graded.

Peter: Try Fedex. They have an office in Pattaya. That would bring
the major auction houses into play.
