I don't know about war coins, I really don't have much interest in them, so looks like I will be saving myself some money when these coins come out.
Have any war coins done well in the past? I really cant think of any , but then again I don't collect them so meh...

We ran and check the dealers and PO's in order to get some for issue and make $20-$30 on it (for silver). The WW I / II coins will be the same. Well, someone was asking about the fact that the RCM is selling Star WARS coins. Now we know it was to obtain some experience in that market .... |

Any circulated coin has more history in it than these.
I don't watch cop shows on TV and I don't willingly pay to glorify war. These wars could have been prevented bigtime. No disrespect to veterans intended.

I don't think just saying "expensive" is going to cover it! Going by all the other things that have come out lately, my best guess is crazy stupid EXPENSIVE! Circulation coins. 1 or 2 Nickels 1 Dime 3 to 6 Quarters Quarter will also be available in selective paint. 2 to 12 Loons 1 toonie All the above will be available in proof silver. 1-2 cupronickel Quarters 1-2 Fifty cent 3-4 silver Dollars Available in 3or 4 finishes each! Then there are all the other NCLT 3 dollar 5 dollar 10 dollar 15 dollar 20 dollar Etc.. Then you have a half a dozen gold coins from the little 25 & 50 cent ones and up  Then you need to have the full set so now you multiply all this by SIX And remember this will be in addition to the 200 or so coins already being released. I think it might get a little out of control. |

War collectibles are very popular... people collecting guns, ammo box, helmet, etc.
I think war coins will be very popular, just not the whole bunch obviously, but the main ones could do very well IMO.

We got the War of 1812 different coins. WW II wasn't less important "event" and it changed the world from many perspective. So I do not know, what RCM will issue (suspect that a lot of coins), but will like to see: Card with circulated quarters + loonie + toonie Proof 1oz silver coin Proof Silver Dollar as single coin and Annual set Proof 5oz silver coin Bullion edition (?) may be Gold coin - (not for me) and it is enough.....Actually I do not need in the collection all above, but IMO it will be good taste to issue them and only |

Any and all wars are a waste of human lives and resources, but without getting into the politics of it I do support our troops who have to fight and put theirs lives on the line , so I may buy a few for that reason only.
