Great addition jpbone!  I propose we post our new purchases here until The 32 Days of Capped Bust half dollars!(Act 4!) is decreed by Generalissimo Moe. Kind of like The 25 Days of Barber coins thread that has so much great eye candy!  |

Nice coin! I just bought mine which is posted above. Yours is outta my league.
Is that AU or MS? Can't tell from the pics.

Hello jpbone, my coin is graded EF 45 in an Anacs slab. I've had it for many years, over 20 if I recall.

Thank you, Moe. I do not have any early capped bust halves worthy of showing, but here is an interesting 1836. It does have a small edge bump on the obverse.    |

You do not see 1836 reeded edge halves often, you have a great example.
