solotime, It's an auction, not a buy it now with best offer option so it should go to the end of the auction. Some sellers state the right to end the auction if the right buyer comes along and I'm sure things happen through email correspondence, but something like that should be done 'on location' with coin in hand so to speak because all ebay insurances are lost.

I say $32,001 and it doesn't meet the reserve, which is at least $35K...
His other items are Louis Vuitton vintage cases, So I'm guessing he's pricing for the NYC crowd, not us CCF'ers

Upstate, if you use paypal, you're still protected via buyers protection... the seller just cuts ebay and their egregious fees out of the equation. I've transacted a few times with sellers I found on the 'bay outside of the 'bay to save them, and myself, money. Got one of my best deals ever that way.

@upstate, I know it's an auction. It's just I saw misleading information somewhere about reserves. Wasn't ebay, I think on google.

I was thinking $34,500.00 and it won't meet reserve. Remember they are all supposed to be MS dollars, not just junk silver. At $34.00/coin that's not a bad price, but I'm sure it's been searched and or put together from sliders and low end commercial uncs. not much chance of finding many MS63 or higher I'd gather.

No surprise...it didn't meet reserve, $25,600 is all that was bid...guess as stated earlier, just dealers went after this

I contacted the seller to see what his reserve price on the lot was.
He wants $45,000

I could see paying that if I could go through them to make sure they were not sliders. It would be easy to sell them off roll by roll in ebay. For some reason people love these coins.

LOL. He would have to post 2,000 pictures of solid MS63/ MS64 coins to get $45K.

Is it just me or would you say that 1000 Unc Morgans most likely came from a hoard.
And if they came from a hoard they would have all been stored under the same conditions.
And if they were all stored under the same conditions there would not be random ones in the stack with BLACK reeded edges.
