WOW. I like that one. I've got 3 of them but not as nice as that. Don't let anyone bug you about the price. That is one of the coins that will go up, up, up due to it's popularity. Of course you could always sell it to me if not happy.

Now thats what I'm talking about. WOW, so much better than the previous one you posted. It is so hard to pass on a coin you really want but if it is not perfect for those type of dollars, wait. Heck, the hunt is half the fun, anyway. Nice job on a very special coin. Jim

I don't see a thing wrong with that one. Congratulations! (Please note the absence of any of my rants.)

CONGRATULATIONS JIM!! My dealer never got back to me about a 3 legger so obviously he couldn't find another one.

Paratrooper. I remember when you were just a newbie. And I remember your very first post like it was only yesterday. And now you are the owner (will be very, very soon) of 3 legged Buffalo! We are all very proud of you here at the forum. And again... CONGRATULATIOS!!!

There is NOTHING like the 37D 3-legged buffalo!!! The only thing better than saying I had one is I STILL have one. Mine has doubled in value, at least, since I purchased it years ago and I do regret not seeking out a couple of more while my income afforded such purchases. None the less mine is here to stay! Great coin you have there and a true asset to any collection.

We could solve the world's poverty problems with the profits from the "ones we wish we'd bought," couldn't we? That's a great coin, Trooper. I know how much you've wanted to get into one, and it sure looks like you picked a winner.

Thanks, thingee and the rest of you as well! I did have to make a major sacrifice . I reaaaally want a 1909-S VDB, but my wife would probably kill me at this point. I got two weatbacks in my change today. Everytime I get one I hope for that miracle. Nope, late common dates.

Absolutely awesome coin. Where is the wear? What exactly is keeping this from MS? Above his ear?

I'm guessing on the high points of the hip and shoulder (of the buffalo), it looks like the color is slightly different. I guess that can be interpreted as wear? I'm giong to submit it to PCGS for a cross over grade, and see if they will even grade higher.
