This 2011 penny with some instant coffee grounds spilled onto it is... a BIN $300 error coin!!

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE TO SUSPECT ANY CHEMICAL TREATMENTS WERE DONE TO THIS COIN AS THERE IS NO DISCOLORATION OF THE METALS - ACID FOR EXAMPLE WOULD CHANGE THE COLOR TO A BLUE OR PINK

I'm so sorry you had to deal with such a DOPE...

That 2011 is aggressively overpriced by 299.98... that is typical corrosion of the copper plating.

Then there are the 1920-2012 1c and 1922-2012 5c offerings with no key dates.

A dryer/acid 5c.

A 1955 SF "error" for $149

A little snake oil with every win!

I'm surprised that they/she would even return a message. Is it appropriate to contact ebay when that happens..?

Maybe the Seller should submit the coin to ICCS and see if he can get it graded "none-circulated"

The cardboard ID card ICCS supplies is worth more than the "error" coins she has.

Its a shame that there are so many people trying to scam the unwary or new coin collectors.
