Question: Would be in bad taste to show the gold that I used to have?

Oooh! A 7070 revisited.

i go 1843 as my earliest but I will contribute I believe 15 or 18 pieces all told if we go to the 1930's. Maybe we start 179x - 1810?

Cool idea. My earliest is 1849, though I can hit a lot of the years following that.

I hope that I did not delete them all...I have a tendency to do that when I do not rightfully possess it anymore.

We will need 15 decades so SmallEagle can show his 179x examples.

For those of you who haven't seen his drool worthy gold, do a search for muddler's "12 days of your favorite classics!" He's about 4 pages from the end.

OH MY

I just saw hid collection from that thread. Where on earth did he manage those from? I do not want to even think about the cost of some of those treasures. Those are just incredible. wow

Oh my, is right! Holy Cow!!

Ok, I propose for a name for the upcoming thread: the "15 Days of American Gold Fever: 1790s-1930s".

Thoughts? Additions? Clarifications?

I just received the email notification of the "12 days" thread being bumped and realized I hadn't been around these parts for a while! I'll definitely contribute my early gold to the cause :)
