Zombie Thread Alert!!   Pillar of the Community coinlover1899 somehow decided that reviving a 3-1/2 year old thread for an update ... with no photos ... would somehow provide additional information. Politely suggest that a new thread with photos of the coin show found error bill from a year ago would be welcome and receive positive responses. David |

I found this thread a year ago, when the photos were still on it.
Sorry nickel searcher, but I figured this would be a good place to put the new post. Also, like I said, I sold the note, so I don't have any photos.
Sorry again, just wanted to share what happened to the bill.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, and understanding what I read, the OP (or someone who bought the note from the OP) 5 years ago sold the note to your dad at a coin show a year ago for 200$?
Or am I just dazed and confused?

There's no harm in posting your story here, Devin.  I never would have seen the original otherwise. Why the negative responses?  It's crazy how that note came back around to another CCF member after several years!  However, that's not the end of the story. Maybe someday, another member will post a "new purchase" of a mismatched serial $1 that turns out to be that exact one.  In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020
