The real pain for me will be finding a crisp unc Rios-Lew $10 note. I only found one Paulson $10 and one Geithner $10 I liked. $5's are more common and $20's come out of the cash machines, thus I expect I will get those first.

Finally found a $5 2013 Rios-Lew DC note that I can live with until I find an absolutely pristine one. Just a small light crinkle at the center left bottom from a wallet.

Double Eagle, if you run into any 2013 $2s let me know. I haven't even found a 2013 anything here. Oddly enough 2's aren't being stocked at the banks or CUs as much. Thankfully I'm stocked up on series 2009.

Finally got some in my cash drawer tonight. Out of $720 in 20 dollar bills taken in tonight, one was a series 2013. The $5 is slightly crinkly, but the $10 and $20 are pretty nice, barring a couple of very slight snubs in the corners of the bills. (I got the 5 about a month ago, found the 10 and 20 on the same day today.)  Edited by KevinSun242

Also, I have a question about the 20 dollar bill. I read somewhere that many of the newly printed 20 dollar bills from the DC BEP branch used a new printing method, distinguishable by the really high front plate serial number in the top right corner. It seems that this new 2013 bill doesn't have such a number. Anybody have any clue on this?

My boss was in London this weekend and got some US currency there. Turns out it is all 2013 issue. I haven't seen any here in the US yet.   |
