^Yes, the rep was mistaken. It is bi-monthly, not monthly.

Well, with the trend in the bullion value, this will affect the popularity on collecting coins... There's has been a lot of newbies in the domain since the last 5 years... If the gold and silver go down in value like thi year, lots of people will go back to other roots to spend their money... Look at the bitcoin for example, it's ridiculous... It's always the same, buy low, sell high... The "sell high" period in bullions and NCLT coins market seems over... For sure the RCM did not really help with all those releases... They overflow a little market (Canada) with so much coins that it cannot handle...

I am one of them. :) I bought more bulions than NCLT this year.

Not sure may be December. Although I know that January definitely is getting some new releases.

There is clearly no December release. e-mail from RCM 10/29/2013 to announce the November release "I am pleased to announce the final official RCM launch of 2013!". The Mint will release MORE coins in 2014 than they did in 2013. No question.

I hope it won't come soon. My pocket needs time to recovery from recent release.

I hope the RCM will get the message of too many coins per year, you are just starting to see dealers like Canadian Coin, Canada Post, Colonial selling recent issues below issue prices. Simply too many releases

Simply too many releases If I remember correctly, someone posted earlier about RCM's revenues that increased last period (quarter?year?) so one of the messages, that Mint got - continue this way and profit will be good. In long term - it seems not good, that big distributors sells the coins below issue, but who knows, maybe even with this the dealers have also increased their profits. I think, the Mint will continue with the production the same as it was in 2013.

If their dealers are starting to discount list pricing, means one thing that the product is being over produced, I have read somewhere that the RCM intends to release more issues than this year.

It's like a house of cards over there. Bennett's going to try to retire before it all falls apart.

There are so many coins at the Vancouver Mint Boutique I think there are going out of space. They will need more display cases.
Same goes with the Vancouver Main Post Office on Georgia Street which will be closing soon as they will be moving to Richmond. Maybe they will have a sale.
