I was able to get a free coin for a second time this week after getting one in February already. No code required, the coin gets added to your cart when the order value exceeds $100. It's a pretty good deal.

Shipping was $15. You can order and pick up at a branch without paying shipping but the free coin promo only works online.

If you add the code "SMAPLE" in the promo code box, it will save $1/coin. A pretty quick gain if you buy some SML`s.

I had considered this deal too.
if you buy 4 1 oz sunshine silver bars at today's price $25.29
And get 1 maple leaf free
you have 5oz of .9999 for $101.86
add shipping of 15 plus tax = $16.95
Total cost $118.11 for 5 oz or $23.62 per oz
Spot in CAD is about $21.94
Compare to buying 5 oz of "junk" maple leaf coins from J&M for @ $24.90 = $124.50 plus shipping of $16.95
you would get $141.45 for the same amount of silver.
Now the maple leaf coins are 25.96, but if the SMAPLE code works, you would get a super deal.
I contacted CIBC and they say the offer is valid as long as the ad is on the site.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but CIBC is doing 10% off all collector coins this month using the coupon code COLLECTOR at http://www.preciousmetals.cibc.com. They have some of RCM's July coins as well.  |
