F15/12. GERMANICVS is spot on with his assessment, the only difference in my eyes is the net grade which I would set at G6 or G5 (grade=value) for medium granularity, nicks on obverse rim and field, and the scratches. All in all a very good buy and decent coin.

I should hope that you're beginning to realize, after almost a year of posting and asking intelligent questions here, that you've a pretty good eye for coins and an appropriate sense of value. Even better, you know when to ask before you leap. This purchase is just another bit of proof.

I'm at F12 details I think the price you paid is quite good for this coin even with the issues. I'd be happy to have it I my large cent collection!

F12 details, scratched. Some might describe the surfaces as lightly granular, but to me it looks natural enough not to detract. EAC grade, G6? I think you paid a fair price for this coin. Congrats.
