I'm thinking the holder has a bit to do with the apparent finish - by now, pretty much all Capital holders have seen better days. More's the pity - they have value of their own these days.

If I were to send this to a TPG, which one?
I saw the details for the first time when I took these photos.

I would not be surprised to see MS 64 TPG will allow a mark or two with fields that nice and that strike. I just went back to look and I don't think it's been clean I'm sticking with ms 64. Unless you want to sell it to me then it's an au55

Sorry - I missed this, laughing at Mikey's post.

Don't bother slabbing it unless liquidation is in this coin's near future. Even if the cost of grading goes up in the future, it won't change all that much as a percentage of the coin's value. If liquidation is in order, use PCGS for their current advantage in the marketplace.

This one gets pricey in Mint State.

Based on the pictures, I don't see any reason this wouldn't grade 63/64. Beautiful Bust quarter.

I don't see any wear on this coin and I think it could grade MS-63 maybe MS-64. Absolutely a spectacular coin!

I think it's got a shot at MS65. Even if it has a couple rubs and is technically AU it should grade no lower the MS62. Looks like quite a coin.
