A bit of friction on high points of devices.

I'm at AU58. Great example with ample luster.

I'm going to have to agree with AU-58.

A very nice coin, nonetheless.

I'm in at Au-58, it appears there is very slight wear.

Either way, gorgeous coin

The left wing tip looks uncirculated, therefore MS63. Very nice upgrade!

Well we seem to be mixed as to AU or MS, either way this might be one of those coins that could, if it grades AU - get resubmitted and end up in a MS holder, making some good profit.

Now this is what a crack out candidate looks like in AU (if AU) and one you never want to remove from a slab if in a MS designation!

This one is a great coin to put up on the grading forum

I'm still sticking with my MS62/63 call.

The AU vs. MS debate can be pretty lively! I bought this piece as mint state and in-hand I'm confident of that judgment. Luster is intact across the obverse fields which is where I would expect friction from light wear to show. Strike is well above average, despite the very slight weakness on the eagle's breast.

Carbon spots tend to limit the grade for MS cents and this coin has a few small ones on the reverse. Overall, I think ICG got it right.

I'm a little late to this round, but I was going wth the AU58 crowd out of pure jealousy.

Really nice looking coin!

I was assuming that weakness was wear.

Nice Coin

Nice coin and at the top of my grade split of MS62/63 as well, nice pick, the price was probably a lot better in an ICG holder than if it were in a PCGS slab too!

I don't grade cents and I wish I hadn't seen this one. I love eagles. Now I want one.
