If you've ever driven through Wall, South Dakota and gone into the Wall Drug store, the counter there is full of Morgan and Peace dollars

Quote: If you've ever driven through Wall, South Dakota and gone into the Wall Drug store, the counter there is full of Morgan and Peace dollars I rode through there back in 2005 or so. I had been out of collecting for some time at that point an I guess I never noticed If anyone is in that area be sure to check out the Crazy Horse monument. I stopped by there first and then went to Mount Rushmore and to be honest Crazy Horse was more impressive.

Wasn't their a Las Vegas casino that had a bar inlaid with silver dollars. My recollection is maybe a million?
I was thinking it might be the Horseshoe owned by the Binion family by can't find a reference to it.
Just rings a bell somehow.

Tampabay,
You might be thinking of the Million Dollar display that Binion's Horseshoe had - 100 $10,000 bills. They were sold off several years ago. They now have another display that consists of $100 bills.

Down town Missoula Montana has a Silver Dollar Bar too, I drive past it half the time I go into town. I'll have to take my camera in there one of these days, not sure if it has much of a wall or bar with silver but I'm pretty sure it's owned by the same guy that has the one in Haugan.

Just browsing the old posts.....What's humorous about the Silver Dollar Bar in Haugan, MT, is that the full name is "Lincoln's" Silver Dollar Bar. It is still there and has more security than Donald Trump. Named after the Lincoln family in Mineral County, MT, who like to brag they are the largest taxpayer in the county. They own three or four "tourist trap" type restaurants, gift shops, bars, and Montana style casino's. I believe they are also now involved in the distribution, operation, maintenance of gaming machines in Western Montana. Just FYI comments. Also, the Silver Dollar in Missoula is no relation, been operated by the Martello family for generations. I think there is a Silver Dollar Bar in almost every town in Montana.
