Quote: I would of liked to see them strike some everyday coins.
You wouldn't see much. In Denver alone, they made 3.3 bil cents last year. If you divide that down, that is almost 6300 cents per minute. Other than a couple of chutes firing out pennies, they would have to slow everything down to super slow motion.
FordF150, Thanks for posting. I have seen this episode at least once a year but still enjoyed it again. Winced when I saw the part where NGC is grading a gold coin. Can not believe they are handling the coin with bare hands and talking over the coin . They ended up saying it was in MS65, but for how long? John1
Quote: I wish I could buy the coins at the prices they mentioned during the show.
You could have, 13 years ago. Why didn't you? And thirteen to twenty years from now people will be looking back at the prices coins are selling at now and will be saying the same thing. I wish I could have bought those coins for what they were selling for in 2014. The bargains as seen from the future are the high prices of today.
