Let's see if these are any clearer.

It appears AU in the images but those pics are still not good.

No hits on the obverse rim, clean fields, no obvious wear to the high spots, nice beard,
I could see this grading low MS due to the odd color

I would go mid AU range on this one.

This is a tough coin to photograph! I tried a couple of shots in direct sunlight.

I'm still learning the intricacies of grading: For those who have said AU, what are you seeing on the coin that makes you grade it AU?

I certainly appreciate your insights.

I'm no expert, but it just looks slightly worn to me. The nick in the O on the reverse looks a little worn to me.

I'm curious what people think about the gap between the chin and the mouth. Is this indicative of a weak strike or a worn die or something else?

Make sure you set your camera in "macro" mode so the close up pictures would be clearer....

I would grade it at AU50. I don't see any lust on your picture.

Somewhere between G-4 and MS-66.
I really like the reverse better than the obverse. Very little wear is noticable on the wheats. Nice coin. Wish it were in my Album. Very possibly about AU-56 to 58.

ONE LAST TRY! I must have taken 40 shots of this coin. Normally my macro photos of brown coins turn out nicely. This one is a real pain. I took these last ones with brighter light.

I'm going to put it up on ebay as a Brown AU. Thanks for the opinions.

That is a very good looking LWC. I'll keep my ebay eyes peeled.

Very nice coin, I'm leaning toward AU. Does it cartwheel at all?
