It is a nice coin, and would seem to be a good candidate for encapsulation.
To answer the question about how much I originally paid for this coin - If
I remember well, it was about $ 550.

I'll go VF20. I have to admit, I have become cynical - as soon as I saw that the coin was unslabbed, my first thought was "It has to be fake". But considering that it was purchased from Christie's, that would be enough to satisfy me of it's authenticity.
